Linkary ("the app") is developed by Jelt ("we," "us"). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Linkary.
Linkary does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data with us or with any third party. There are no accounts to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Everything you create in Linkary — categories, links, notes, cover photos, and your theme preference — is stored:
We (the developer) never receive, see, or have access to this data. It is encrypted and synced entirely within Apple's iCloud infrastructure, under your Apple ID, governed by Apple's own privacy policy. Turning off iCloud for Linkary, or signing out of iCloud, stops any syncing — the app continues to work fully offline using only local, on-device storage.
If you choose to set a cover photo for a category, Linkary uses Apple's system photo picker (PhotosPicker). This picker runs outside the app and only hands Linkary the single image you explicitly select — Linkary never receives, requests, or has access to the rest of your photo library.
Linkary lets you export your links to a .linkbox file and import one back in. These files are created and opened only through the system's standard share sheet and file picker, at your explicit action. No file is sent anywhere outside your own device or iCloud account unless you personally choose to share it (for example, via Messages or Mail) using Apple's share sheet.
Linkary contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. The only external network requests the app makes are:
Linkary does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
